Profession: Commercial Real Estate Development

Responsibilities: Project origination and management of all aspects of development

My college experience leading to a bachelor’s degree in social psychology found me deeply concerned about the environment beginning with the famous Santa Barbra oil spill. I enrolled in “experimental ecology” courses such as environmental health, and environmental economics. From there I co-founded the CSU Long Beach recycling center (the first one in Long Beach) and pioneered a local hospital’s conversion to recycling from trash burning via an incinerator. During my commercial real estate years I never developed on virgin land and intentionally planted the equivalent of a small forest.

Our engine is a profoundly important breakthrough, where important means its potential impact on people’s lives. I am grateful to be part of this powerful (pun intended) solution.
